unlabelled serum
PTPRM antibody was purified from goat serum by ammonium sulphate precipitation followed by antigen affinity chromatography using the immunizing peptide.
Goat
Polyclonal
This antibody is expected to recognize both reported isoforms (NP_001098714.1 and NP_002836.3).
PTPRM antibody was made against a 14 amino acid synthetic peptide near the internal region of PTPRM.
ELISA
ELISA: Antibody detection limit dilution 1:16,000. Western Blot: Approximately 110 kDa and 16 kDa in rat retina lysates after 0.1 ug/mL antibody staining.1. Both detected bands were successfully blocked by incubation with the immunizing peptide (and BLAST results with the immunizing peptide sequence did not identify any other proteins to explain the additional bands).
PTPRM antibody is supplied in Tris saline, 0.02% sodium azide, pH 7.3 with 0.5% bovine serum albumin.
Aliquot and store at -20 grades C. Minimize freezing and thawing.

This antibody needs to be stored at + 4°C in a fridge short term in a concentrated dilution. Freeze thaw will destroy a percentage in every cycle and should be avoided.
If you buy Antibodies supplied by proscience they should be stored frozen at - 24°C for long term storage and for short term at + 5°C.
