Scientific context

CD34, also known as gp105-120, is a heavily glycosylated, transmembrane glycoprotein that is expressed on the surface of lymphohematopoietic stem and progenitor cells, small-vessel endothelial cells, embryonic fibroblasts and some cells in fetal and adult nervous tissue. It is also present on capillary endothelial cells and on bone marrow stromal cells. The CD34 cytoplasmic domain has an intracellular domain that contains consensus sites for activated protein kinase C (PKC) phosphorylation as well as serine, threonine and tyrosine phosphorylation sites. It mediates cell adhesion and lymphocytes homing through binding to L-selectin and E-selectin ligands.

Test

StressMark antibodies supplies antibodies that are for research of human proteins.

Properties

Stem cell or hematopoietic marker. The most used affinity clone is QBEND10. We compare the affinity to this clone.Human proteins, cDNA and human recombinants are used in human reactive ELISA kits and to produce anti-human mono and polyclonal antibodies. Modern humans (Homo sapiens, primarily ssp. Homo sapiens sapiens). Depending on the epitopes used human ELISA kits can be cross reactive to many other species. Mainly analyzed are human serum, plasma, urine, saliva, human cell culture supernatants and biological samples.

Rabbit Anti-Human CD34 Polyclonal: Alkaline Phosphatase

About

Polyclonals can be used for Western blot, immunohistochemistry on frozen slices or parrafin fixed tissues. The advantage is that there are more epitopes available in a polyclonal antiserum to detect the proteins than in monoclonal sera.Rabbits are used for polyclonal antibody production by StressMark antibodies. Rabbit antibodies are very stable and can be stored for several days at room temperature. StressMark antibodies adds sodium azide and glycerol to enhance the stability of the rabbit polyclonal antibodies. Anti-human, anti mouse antibodies to highly immunogenic selected peptide sequences are" monoclonal like" since the epitope to which they are directed is less than 35 amino acids long.
