A 1:250 dilution of SPC-1012 was sufficient for detection of LYN (pTyr508) in 10 µg of human A431 cell lysate by ECL immunoblot analysis using goat anti-rabbit IgG:HRP as the secondary antibody.

LYN is a protein-tyrosine kinase. It is involved in regulation of innate and adaptive immune response, cell degranulation and hematopoiesis. It is also involved in signal transduction induced by growth factors, cytokines and integrin signalling. It also responds to DNA damage and genotoxic agents. Its regulations many aspects of the cell depending on cell type and context. Lyn has been associated with increase in invasiveness and mestasis of breast cancer cells.
