A 1:250 dilution of SPC-917 was sufficient for detection of ASK1 (pSer1033) in 10 µg of HeLa cell lysate by ECL immunoblot analysis using goat anti-rabbit IgG:HRP as the secondary antibody.

ASK1 is part of the MK Kinases, also called MAP kinase kinase kinases, and they phosphorylate and activate the MAP kinases, including ERK, JNK and p38. ASK 1 activates both MEK-4 and MEK-3/MEK-6 pathways.
