Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay based on the Double-antibody Sandwich method for detection of Rat Alkaline Phosphatase, Liver/Bone/Kidney (ALPL) in samples from serum, plasma, tissue homogenates and other biological fluids with no significant corss-reactivity with analogues from other species. This is a cost efficient bulk pack of 5 plates of 96 wells each, conveniently packed along with the other reagents in 5 separate kits to avoid unsealing the plates and reagents that won't be immediately used.
Detection range: 0.78-50ng/mL; Sensitivity: < 0.30ng/mL; Species reactivity: Rattus norvegicus (Rat)
Known also as Alkaline Phosphatase, Liver/Bone/Kidney elisa. Alternative names of the recognized antigen: BALP; BSAP; HOPS; AP-TNAP; TNSALP; Bone Alkaline Phosphatase; Alkaline Phosphatase, Tissue-Nonspecific Isozyme
Transported on ice packs/blue ice. Keep refrigerated at 2-8 degrees Celsius. Shelf life: 6 months.
Research Use Only.

Rats are used to make rat monoclonal anti mouse antibodies. There are less rat- than mouse clones however. Rats genes from rodents of the genus Rattus norvegicus are often studied in vivo as a model of human genes in Sprague-Dawley or Wistar rats.
